STEPHEN LAKE
Please forgive me - I’m a born and bred Queenslander - but for the past four years I’ve travelled south to work and recreate part-time in northern New South Wales, including here in Port Macquarie, and I thoroughly enjoy these opportunities. I'm maroon, with a hint of blue. Sports aside, I have spent my life working with families, parents, children and adolescents in schools, child protection, foster care, youth justice and youth detention (jail). My life is committed to supporting and encouraging balanced lives and healthy relationships - making a positive difference today, impacting generations to come.
I have walked with God along two parallel life paths. The first is my faith path, expressed as a Deacon in the Anglican Church and in the wider community. The second is as a teacher and professional in human services - now in Professional Supervision. Life is not simple or easy, but it’s great! Let’s live it the best way we can!
